The Aurum Online Press Conference titled “Fixing Comms: Promoting Science Journalism Among Us” is a digital science journalism press conference created by the UP Biochemistry Society’s official newsletter, The Aurum. The event aims to create an avenue for all young science journalists to promote ethical science journalism and raise awareness towards science communication. It also targets to inspire and examine the skills of high school students in terms of scientific writing, critical thinking, and creativity. It features four categories for Science and Technology Writing and Art, namely: News, Feature, Editorial, Cartoon. The three writing categories will be available for both English and Filipino media while cartoons will be divided into two more sub-categories: Traditional and Digital.
